Memorial Day Observance

The City of Highland Park invites you to join the City's annual Memorial Day observance on May 25 at Highland Park High School. The event will include a bell ceremony honoring Highland Park veterans who have passed away, a reading by Highland Park Poet Laureate and retired Air Force Major Laura Joyce-Hubbard, and feature a performance by the Highland Park High School band and choir. The Memorial Day Observance is planned in partnership with the American Legion North Shore Post #738, Jewish War Veterans Post #29, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4737.
Individuals driving to the event should park at the High School's H entrance (off of St. Johns). Individuals may be dropped off at the auditorium entrance on St. Johns, just south of Vine and across the street from Maple.
