Celebrate fall and all things German with beer, bites, and Bavarian music at the fourth annual Oktoberfest presented by the City of Highland Park. The fun takes place in the Ravinia District on Saturday, September 20 from 10 PM - 10 PM. From a BBQ contest to Oktoberfest Games and, of course, the beloved stein-holding contest, plenty of family-friendly activities, dancing, food, live entertainment, and contests are on tap at this year’s celebration!
Oktoberfest is presented by Life Rhythms, Inc., and sponsored by the City of Highland Park.
Entertainment & Contests
Oktoberfest boasts both traditional Oktoberfest-style dance and music as well as a popular Chicago headlining band. Stein Holding Contest, kids activities & games, local food & beverage vendors, an amateur BBQ competition & more will be ongoing throughout the event.
